WOW, i wish i could go.....maybe the next one..sigh*....amazing..

I can vouche that the choice is well worth it. The instructors, the information, the food(!), the people, I have no learning in my life that compares; no learning that has been as useful (and fun!). Even though I live in the suburbs, in my parents house, with so little exposure to a permaculture environment, the strategy of being permaculture plays out in every interaction i make, based on a resevoir of pertinent information that I continually feed with an interest that shall remain relivant for eternity! (Hence permaculture; permanant culture). There is so much support for anyone who makes the effort, people, tribes, literature old and new, I highly recommend "mycelium running, how mushrooms can help save the world" by Paul Stamets. Though perhaps it is best to see what Pigeonhawk has up his sleeve (Patrick teaches mycorestoration for the course). I would attend all over again, over and over again! Thank you for taking the initiative, there is no better time than now, mother Earth calls us and she has guides to teach us. Starhawk is no doubt, a reprisentative of an important current, alive and working aligned with the elements (and awesome friends!).

Actually I'm headed to the Elements of Magic Weekend Intensive offered by the SF Reclaiming community.

But the Earth Activist Training sounds very good too. I will look into that for later as I'm very interested in permaculture as well. I'd love to hear about the training after you get back.
